This extremely rare wax female head is a genuine original from Pierre Imans, who was a pioneer designer of wax mannequins in the 1920s. The wonderful details - like the piercing blue eyes and red lips - are typical of the Art Deco era and style. The Pierre Imans logo is visible on the right side of her base: Imans was known to model his mannequins after real women in his life, so this bust is truly a portrait of a woman from the 20s! Definitely a museum piece and a real collector's item.
